The Value of ‘Day-Of’ Wedding Coordination

We get asked all the time - do you offer “day of” coordination. Absolutely—but let’s clear something up. There’s no such thing as true “day-of” wedding coordination when it’s done properly. “Month-of” coordination is a closer description, but even that doesn’t quite capture the magic we bring to the table. That’s why we call the services that we offer, Wedding Management! Let’s dive into what this service includes and why it’s so much more than just showing up on the big day.

We’re Here for You from the Start

From the moment you book with All Things Considered, your lead coordinator becomes your go-to expert. Questions? Ideas? Concerns? We’re just a phone call, text, or email away to help guide you through the planning process. We have been in the industry long enough to give expert advice, connect you to the best vendors, and have lots of ideas on just about anything you might be stuck on.

And if you need extra help with design or décor decisions, we’ve got you covered! We offer two complimentary meetings dedicated to design and décor guidance—even before the 8-week mark. Whether you’re stuck on color palettes, table settings, or overall aesthetics, we’ll help you bring your vision to life.

Two months before your wedding, we officially step in as your planning partner-in-crime. By this time, you’ll have a dedicated lead coordinator fully focused on your wedding details and ready to make your dream day a reality.

The Countdown to “I Do”

  • 8 Weeks to Go:
We’ll ask you to send us your wedding planning questionnaire, along with all your vendor contracts. This allows us to get up to speed, review the details, and flag any potential issues before they become problems.

  • 6 Weeks to Go:
Time for our in-person planning meeting! Together, we’ll create a 6+ page timeline that covers every moment of your wedding day. This includes a vendor contact sheet and a floor plan (if your caterer hasn’t already provided one). It’s a fun, collaborative session where we ask a million questions—don’t worry if you don’t know all the answers yet. That’s what we’re here for!

  • 30 Days to Go:
We’ll join you for a final venue walk-through to confirm the layout and flow of your wedding. This step ensures everything is perfectly aligned with your vision.

  • 2 Weeks to Go:
By now, we’ve got everything nearly buttoned up. We’ll email your vendors with a draft timeline and floor plan, introducing ourselves and inviting their feedback.

  • 1 Week to Go:
We’ll meet one last time to finalize the timeline, double-check all the details, and send the final documents to your vendors. No surprises here—just smooth sailing ahead!

When we say that we curate a detailed wedding timeline specific to your wedding - we mean detailed!

Rehearsal Day

We’re there to make your rehearsal a breeze. Whether we’re assisting your officiant or running the entire rehearsal ourselves, we’ll ensure everyone knows their cues. We will take sure everyone has eyes on a timeline, our emergency contact number, share last minute details and even some encouraging words.

Your Wedding Day: The Main Event

  • Before the Ceremony:
Your lead coordinator arrives about an hour before the photographer to check on hair and makeup, tidy up the getting-ready space, and organize all the details for those dreamy flat-lay shots.

Once you’re ready for your first look, we head to the venue to start setup. We oversee vendors, ensure contracts are being fulfilled, and arrange personal items for the ceremony. We’re also there to greet your guests, cue musicians, and direct the processional.

  • During the Ceremony and Reception:
After the ceremony, we guide your guests to the next location, handle any cleanup at the ceremony site, and ensure your reception is picture-perfect. Throughout the evening, we coordinate with your photographer, entertainment, and other vendors to cue all the big moments—think toasts, first dances, and cake cutting.

And when life throws curveballs, we’re ready. Whether it’s a timeline adjustment or a surprise emergency, we handle it with grace and professionalism!

  • End of the Night:
As the party winds down, we pack up your personal items and gifts, oversee vendor breakdowns, and ensure everyone gets home safely. Your lead coordinator typically spends about 14 hours on-site, ensuring every detail is handled to perfection.

There is nothing better than having the ability to be completely present in every moment of your wedding day while knowing that All Things Considered has every”behind the scenes” details covered.

Extra Hands, No Extra Cost

Need more than one set of hands? No problem! We will bring along an assistant (at no additional charge) to help with setup, reception transitions, and guest needs. They are typically on-site for 4-6 hours, working alongside your lead coordinator to keep everything running smoothly.

Why It’s Worth It

You’ve spent months (if not years!) planning your wedding, pouring your time and energy into making it perfect. On the big day, you deserve a team that’s equally dedicated to executing your vision. Between your lead coordinator and our support team, we’ll invest 40–50 hours into your wedding to ensure it’s nothing short of spectacular.

And with our complimentary design and décor meetings, All Things Considered GR is here to help you craft an event that’s as beautiful as it is seamless. Because let’s face it—you only get one chance to make your wedding day truly unforgettable. Let us make sure it’s everything you dreamed of and more!
